T-shirt bags

Cute, easy, and stylish

 T-shirt bags

Having done this once before, a bunch of friends decided to make prizes for... well, the full story's on the home page. Anyway, this prize was decided because they're easy to make, fun to have, Eco-friendly to use, and easy to developed an obsession for and make tons of.  These are basically t-shirts with the sleeves cut off and the bottom sewed up. The neck is also widened to make it easy to put your things in. So... ladies and gentlemen, we present:

The ultimate bag!!!!

Since I don't currently feel like making an Adobe for this, and you probably don't feel like opening another tab, and waiting forever for your incredibly slow computer to load this, I'm going to make the tutorial here.

Tutorial: So, you want to make a t-shirt bag?

Step 1:
Cut off the sleeves of the t-shirt. Note how the sleeve on the right side of the shirt is cut to the right of the seam. The left sleeve will be cut to the left of the seam. This helps ensure strength in the bag.

Step 2:
Using a plate, trace an outline using the pen or soap for the opening for the bag. The plate should go down about ¾ of the shirt. Cut this out.

Step 3:
Turn the shirt in-side-out. Along the bottom of the bag, sew above the seam. If you are using a machine, sew straight stitch first and then zig-zag. This helps re-enforce the bottom of the bag. Do not cut off the material below the seam, because it will further strengthen the bag.

You’re done!

Another cute bag I made!
Ahhh... the joys of pre-printed fabric for your bag, that's actually cute!
Cute, stylish, and easy to make!

DIY Lace Scrunchies

I don't know about you, but I love having scrunchies for those days where you just don't feel like doing anything but your hair is driving you MAD.
Either way, I decided to try to make one (or two) for myself.
Tada!! All I did was cut a piece of elastic the length of a typical hairband, slip on a piece of lace, and sew it all together. However, as unworthy of a tutorial this may seem, I did create one. Coming soon... an Adobe with the full tutorial! (With color pictures!) So what are you waiting for? Subscribe today and you can be one of the first people  to be notified when new patterns come out. If you can't wait and want your scrunchie ASAP, order now at the3rsofcrafting@gmail.com to get your scrunchie (Or become a member).
