So, a couple of friends get together and decide to make a difference in the world. Step one? Get attention in a fun, creative way. And that fun, creative way MUST include fun, creative prizes. Or the fun, creative people we're trying to get the attention of will become less fun but a lot more creative in ways of thinking for revenge for the apparently not fun and uncreative prizes.
So...
These "couple of friends" decide to do a booth at their local summer festival called "Derby Days," to educate kids (the world's future leaders) in how our Earth needs help. They come up with games and facts, but then, realize, "what about the fun, creative prizes?" They need these in order to not be subjected to a life of misery from the kids who got bored to death by the presentation. The solution included candy of coarse, but we also decided to come up with an Earth-friendly prize that will get kids excited.

Re-useable, kid-friendly (I hope), super- cool, T-shirt bags! (Thunderous applause)
T-shirt bags are pretty much what you think they are... old T-shirts in the new form of re-useable bags. They are environmentally-friendly, and keep the shirts out of the landfill. In a few hours, we cut and sewed over 45 bags! We will finish them, and then they will be prizes for the kids at our booth. For a tutorial on how to make them, go to the Patterns page.
